About Our Finishes

Recycled Paper Series

Recycled Paper CabinetsIn order to reduce the use of natural resources and the production of waste:

  • Industrial liquid waste is fully recovered for the production of resins.
  • Most craft and decorative papers needed for the production of American Loft laminates contain recovered/recycled materials (saw dust, filler, cellulose and recycled papers).
  • Some of the waste of the semi-finished and finished products is used to produce backer laminates.
  • Scraps and waste from the semi-finished and finished product are processed into incinerators recovering energy.
  • The paper used in the production of American Loft is obtained from raw material (cellulose) coming from a sustainable use of forests. American Loft’s main supplier of decorative and craft papers comply with FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) – SF1 PEFC CoC Standards or other relevant International Certification Systems of Forest Management.
